"I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can't make myself do right. I want to, but I can't. When I want to do good, I don't. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway." - Romans 7:18-19
I will be the first to admit my workout schedule took a beating during the holiday season. I really prayed for God to help bring my motivation back. Running makes me feel better; running is good for me; running keeps me focused.
I am pleased to report that God honored my request. Of course, I just requested motivation - not using any specific terms. On Christmas morning, my dear husband gave me a Christmas present in the form of a race regisstration for the Phoenix Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon. What could be better than escaping the cold of Wisconsin for the warmth of the Arizona sunshine? I'm all for it - except it's only two weeks away!!!!!
Yes, motivation has found me. I'm embracing the challenge and looking to the one who ultimately will allow it to be possible!
